Pink Snow

 Happy Pink Saturday to ya!!
I have had such a crazy loong week..I had this idea to make a topper for my curtains out of felt...to make it look like ice-cycles....then I thought of adding the snowflakes..and it still didn't look  right soooooooo...PINK lights finished it off! I know I am a little ahead of schedule getting ready for Christmas but if I do it slowly it is not such a hard task...my friend and I have been really praying about the joy and peace of Christmas to be number one this year and that we won't be overwhelmed with preparation and gifts and just the STUFF that happens at Christmas time..but to be saturated with the love of God and bring that to our homes!

So enjoy your week-end or week! I am linking with"How Sweet the Sound" for pink saturday hope to see you!

Very cool Kandy! I like that you added the snowflakes - nice touch.
Yes, keeping Christmas full of love is the most important thing. It rejuvenates us for the rest of the year.

Stay in the pink today,
Marianne

Happy Pink Saturday Kandy Sweetie...
Oh my goodness what a beautiful effect you have given the curtains. I love the icicle look, but with the pink lights, it is just definitely the icing on the cake. How very pretty they are.

A gorgeous idea. Thank you for sharing. Have a fabulous weekend. Country hugs, Sherry

I am praying right along with you that I enjoy the season and not get caught up in the rushness of it all and the commercialism. The local feed store out here puts on a living Christmas story special one night a week or so before Christmas. Last year the night was cold by crystal clear and the sky full of stars. The angels were standing on top of the barn with a back light on them. There was a gentle wind blowing and their "wings" were just so slightly moving with the wind. It was the most magical thing I have ever seen. It was so simple yet so meaningful. It just made the season so perfect. HPS
