Paper Roses

Hi..Pink Ladies..
I wanted to share some pictures of a lamp shade I have been revamping for weeks..first I covered it with the peachy pink fabric in the first photo..but I just kept staring at it thinking it just doesn't look right...what to do ,what to do??? I think it was last Saturday as I was taking a stroll down pink lane..that I stumbled across a blog that had a lady revamping her lamp shade..she was making little paper roses and hot gluing them to the shade and it looked so pretty{ sorry if anyone of you were the rose lady...I can't remember where I saw it so if anyone knows who it was I will give her ALL the credit}...anyway I did the same thing, adding a ruffle of tulle and it turned out so pretty.......

Kind of looks like a wedding dress
I pray that you have a wonderful week-end...enjoying the day God has given us. My 13 year old daughter told me something about myself I didn't like hearing but she was so right...she said" You know Mom I have noticed that you don't enjoy the moment for worrying about the future."I had to agree...God told us not to worry about tomorrow; in Matthew...funny how HE uses our babies to let us see ourselves..so I am going to ask God to help me with this!!! I am linking with "How Sweet the Sound" for Pink Saturday...please join us!

Hi Kandy, your lamp shade is very pretty. I like the way it looks with the light turned on. The little flowers make it special. I often find myself worrying way too much and not enjoying the good life I have, too. I suppose that is human nature. I need to work on that situation with His help.-----Shannon

I love this - especially the way the froufrou shows under the pink silk cover when lit up - reminds me of the ballet somehow. A lovely job!

Thanks so much for visiting with me and leaving a comment - sorry I'm late visiting back (I was away teaching an art class yesterday) and also thank you for Following my blog - I noticed the link. But could you also check it as it doesn't work correctly, so you might like to fix it.

Happy Pink Weekend and hugs from the UK!

Oh that came out beautifully...I did one using just the rose petals, love the glow it gives.
Your sweet daughter is right, remember He says that worry will not add one day to your life ! I have to stop and remind my Sweetie of that every once in a while. What a blessing to have a daughter who wants the best for you
